Prestige Furniture Terms and Conditions.



Contract.
1. The title of the Goods shall not pass to the buyer until all sums have been paid in full.

2. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the order value will be charged to cover administration & overhead costs for items that are cancelled prior to delivery /collection or are not required and returned undamaged within 48 hours of delivery / collection. The Company reserves the right not to accept returns or cancellations. The company also reserve the right to recover card charges on cancelled orders.

3. Payment must be made in full prior to delivery /collection of the Goods. Payment can be made by cash or most major credit / debit cards. Please note we do not accept cheques.

4. Cleared funds must be received 48 hrs prior to delivery.

5. No order placed by the Purchaser shall be deemed accepted by the Company until a written acknowledgement of order is issued.

6. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the company’s paperwork, but please check that all the details are correct. We will process the order according to the details overleaf and we will not be held responsible for claims arising from errors. Where the mistake is in the pricing, we will correct it and advise you as soon as possible.

7. Any advice or recommendation given by the Company or its employees to the Purchaser, which is not confirmed in writing, is followed or acted upon entirely at the Purchaser’s own risk. Nothing in these Terms will exclude or limit the Company’s liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. The description and illustrations in catalogues, price lists and other advertisement matter are intended to present a general idea of the look of the product. All our manufacturers adopt a system of continued improvement and therefore the specification and design of the unit may vary slightly from the ones displayed

Delivery / Collection Information.
9. When your goods are ready for delivery /collection we will notify you by telephone. We will then arrange a date for us to deliver the goods or for you to collect. If you are unable to accept the goods within 10 days the full outstanding balance of the invoice must be paid no later than 14 days after the initial telephone call. We reserve the right to charge storage of goods.

10. The Company requires at least 48 hours notice for cancellation of a delivery. Failure to notify within this period will result in a second delivery charge being levied.

11. Please ensure you inform us of any access restrictions to your property. We use a 7.5 tonne lorry for deliveries, the dimensions of which are available on request. We reserve the right to retain the delivery charge should there be a problem with delivery through no fault of our own.

12. We charge for the delivery service to the door of your property then offer a free service, for which you are responsible, to any accessible room. Whilst every effort is made to avoid damage to your property, we will not be held responsible for any damage that we accidentally cause.

A safe working environment is required to comply with Health & Safety legislation. Therefore please remove rugs, light fittings, pictures and ornaments and where dust sheets are used to cover carpets and flooring please ensure that they do not cause a tripping hazard. We suggest you check that your house insurance covers damage done during deliveries.

13. Check items carefully for defects & damage before signing for them. It is your responsibility if someone signs on your behalf.

14. Any after sales service issues, including potential damages & discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of supply. A written assessment and a visual report of the problem will be required. We will endeavour to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.

15. Many of our products are handmade from naturally occurring materials. Nature has a lovely way of making every piece unique, some items have more knots than others and some have slight shakes, blemishes and colour variations. You should also expect some movement when the products are exposed to different environments and temperatures. The acceptable tolerances for movement can vary depending on the size and the thickness of the item.

16. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Company reserve the right to withdraw from this contract at any time, any deposit will be refunded.

17. Please ensure that all packaging & protectors are removed from items prior to use (especially check underside of feet and plinths).

18. Please ensure that a competent person is always used for any fixing and moving of our furniture & accessories - particular attention should be paid to items fixed on walls.

Prestige 8 Terms & Conditions.

Price Match Promise.
We will match any bona fide competitor’s price, plus on top of that, we will give you an extra 5% of the difference. The competitor must be a recognised, reputable, VAT registered & legally trading UK based Retail Company. Always check price match eligibility before placing your order.

1. Proof of offer will be required.

2. Price matches are only considered up to 28 days from the date on your order, all refunds after the date of purchase will be in the form of store credit.

3. The products must be identical in all aspects.

4. The offer must be identical in all aspects.

5. Claims for items not in stock or with a long delivery time may not be considered.

6. Delivery charges and any other charges (assembly or similar) will be added to the comparison price.

Price Protection Promise.
1. If you find a product that we have previously sold to you, now available in store at a cheaper price, we will happily refund you the difference, between what you originally paid for the item and the current marked down price.

2. Price Protection Promise does not apply to Clearance items, Ex-Display, End of line or Blue Cross Sale Items.

3. Price Protection Promise only valid if you claim within 28 days from the date that you placed your order.

4. The offer must be identical in all aspects.

5. Any part exchange value is deemed as a discount value when comparing to any future sales prices. Part exchange item value is non-transferrable to any future sale price.

28 Day Comfort Guarantee (sofa’s & sofa sets).
If after 14 days and not more than 28 days of the new sofa being delivered to you, you find the sit to be less than perfect then we offer you the opportunity to exchange your purchased sofa for another model.

The terms of our offer are as follows:
1. The sofa must not be marked or damaged in any way.

2. An exchange for a higher priced item will be subject to the price difference being paid by you the customer. Unfortunately, if you should choose a lower price model then no refund will be given.

3. A second delivery charge is payable.

4. 10% re-stocking fee is chargeable.

5. Only one exchange per order can be requested.

6. Purchase cannot be refunded for vouchers.

7. 28 day comfort guarantee does not apply where customers own fabric has been used in the construction of the new furniture.

8. Offer does not apply to accent chairs, sofa beds or children’s furniture.

9. The item purchased must have a retail price of £500.00 or above to be elidgible for this offer.

90 Day Good Sleep Guarantee.
If after a minimum of 28 days and not more than 90 days from the date of delivery/collection, you find your new bed/mattress to be either too soft or too hard and not give the excellent nights sleep you anticipated then we will exchange your bed or mattress which ever is appropriate, to a different firmness rated bed..

1. To qualify for the 90 day good sleep guarantee, you must purchase a mattress protector along with your new bed/mattress. This must be used at all times from the date of purchase to ensure that the bed/mattress remains in perfect condition with absolutely no marks or stains.

2. A second delivery charge is payable.

3. 10% re-stocking fee is chargeable.

4. Beds and mattresses can only be exchanged for another bed/mattress and no refunds will be given. If you choose a higher value bed, then the difference is payable by you the customer. Unfortunately, if a lower value bed is purchased, no refund is payable.

5. Only one exchange per order can be requested.

6. Offer does not apply to sofa beds.

7. The item purchased must have a retail price of £200.00 or above to be elidgible for this offer.

7 Day Exchange Policy.
If up to the first 7 days of buying your new furniture you find that you have made a mistake and your new furniture is the wrong size, we will exchange that item for another item that is a more appropriate size.

1. To qualify for this exchange the item must be returned to us in absolutely perfect condition.

2. No refunds will be given. Exchanged goods must be of equivalent or greater value to those originally purchased. If greater than, the balance is payable by you the customer, if less, unfortunately no refunds are given but store credit will be available.

3. A second delivery charge is payable.

4. Only one exchange per order.

5. Offer does not apply to the following: Bespoke items, items made to the customers own specification, kitchens, Yask tables, specials, customer own fabric sofas or any item that is deemed by Prestige not to be a mainstream item (please check with your salesperson at the time of purchase).

Over £1,000,000 of Stock.
We guarantee to hold over 1 million pounds of stock to try to ensure that if you need an item quickly, then we can supply it.

Lead Times.
This is simple, if we quote you a lead time and for any reason your item takes longer to arrive, we will send you a £10 gift voucher for every week that your order is late, for your use against future orders.This relates to the longest quoted lead time i.e 4-6 weeks quoted, the guarantee is payable in week 7.

2 Year Guarantee Against Structural Integrity and Manufacturing Defects.
The 2 year guarantee is twice what legislation dictates that we have to give customers but at Prestige, we only sell good quality products so we give you a longer guarantee.
